This qualification is designed for those learners either currently working or those returning or starting work and wishing to gain a qualification in health and safety. To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 5 hours of learning, with a minimum contact time of 4 hours. This Level 1 Award Health and Safety qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction. Successful completion will enable you to move on to take the CITB health, safety and environment test, and then apply for the new Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card. This card allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker. Gold service – we liaise with you and book your touch screen CITB Health & safety test at your local test centre at a time and date convenient to you. On successful completion of your touch screen test you can then apply for your Green Labourers card.
